Registration for the 2nd Annual National Research Symposium 2016
The National Commission on Research Science and Technology (NCRST)  is established in terms  section 4 of the Research, Science and Technology Act, 2004 (Act 23 of 2004) to provide for the Promotion, Coordination and Development of Research Science and Technology (RST) in Namibia.
The NCRST invites researchers, students and the general public to register for the 2nd Annual National Research Symposium 2016  The Symposium will bring together researchers and related practitioners from all over Namibia to share their research experiences, expertise, and findings with the broader audience including the industry. The symposium hopes to create an enabling environment for the development of the research capacity in Namibia, while creating a knowledge brokerage system between researchers, research institutions and industry, general public, scholars and policy makers, etc.  
The symposium will focus on the Priority Thematic Areas in line with the National Programme on Research, Science & Technology (NPRSTI), namely: Health; Agriculture; Fisheries; Water; Energy; Geosciences; Mining; Indigenous Knowledge Systems; Social Sciences & Humanities; Logistics; Environment & Tourism; Biotechnology; Space Sciences; Manufacturing Technologies; and Information & Communication Technology. Click here for the Programme and Book of Abstracts.
