The NamPort Biggest Brainer Science Quiz was hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, and NamPort, the main sponsor. The competition is aimed at providing innumerable benefits to learners, which encourage their educational and even social development. It also stimulates learners’ interest in science and technology while simultaneously promoting the development of the life skills such as communication, strategic thinking, team work, and lights the fire for knowledge.
The top three regions of the Quiz Competition, who competed at National Level was Khomas Region as the winner, followed by Erongo Region and Otjozondjupa Region who took the third place.
The winning school received trophies and a floating trophy, N$10 000 worth of science equipment, as well as N$5 000 for each team member, while runner up schools received cash prizes and scientific equipment.
