The National Commission on Research, Science & Technology (NCRST) is hosting a Public Lecture with Prof Diana Gibson from the University of Western Cape, South Africa as follows:

Prof Diana Gibson is a trained anthropologist specialising in the field of medical anthropology.  She has published in national and international peer reviewed journals on hospital ethnography, transformation of the South African health care system, ex-combatants and trauma, gender, sexuality and reproductive health, masculinity, gender based violence and tuberculosis. She was the Co-ordinator of the international executive course on Gender, Sexuality and Reproductive Health and Fertility of the Amsterdam Masters in Medical Anthropology for ten years.
