The National Commission on Research, Science and Technology, together with the Directorate of Namibia Library and Archives Services (NLAS), Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture has launched the ''Preserve Namibia Indigenous Knowledge Project” on 15 March 2016 in Windhoek. The project aims to contribute and to enrich the preservation of indigenous knowledge for future generation as well as to assist in introducing digital systems to improve and enable easy access to indigenous information.
