JOB PURPOSE:
The Primary purpose of this position is to ensure that the Commission complies with good Corporate Governance, the provisions of the Research, Science and Technology Act, 2004 (No 23 of 2004), the Public Enterprises Governance Act, 2019 (No 1 of 2019) as well as all other relevant legislation. In addition, this position also acts as the Company Secretary to the Board of Commissioners. The successful candidate will lead the Legal Services and Corporate Governance functions, act as a trusted strategic partner to executive management and the Board of Commissioners, ensuring robust legal risk management, statutory compliance, and ethical institutional integrity.
