JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible to lead and manage scientific operations of the laboratory, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality research and testing. The Chief Scientist provides strategic direction, oversees analytical testing and research, and contributes to national policy and regulatory decision-making on biotechnology and biosafety. The Chief Scientist is also responsible for the overall implementation of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Quality Management System and acts as the Nominated Representative.
